The reason I would say the Jews did not win has less to do with the Greeks, and more to do with the Jews. It is easy to see that the Hasmonean Dynasty was the beginning of the end of the second commonwealth. The Jewish Kings just became more corrupt, the Jews started revolting against each other and there was little love between them until the destruction of the second Temple. Hardly something to celebrate.
